No Bake Power Packed Protein Balls

Who doesn’t like to snack? These snack balls are packed and loaded with energy such as fiber, whole grains, healthy fats, and proteins. This combination is hard to beat, and most of all it is delicious! Try these easy to make power packed protein balls, and you will not be disappointed. In this recipe we use dates as a base ingredient. Make sure to soak in water for 10-15 minutes before processing.

Ingredients

This Recipe makes 8 – 1 ounce balls
1 cup 129 g of deglet noor, or Medjool dates (Soak in Warm Water for 15 minutes)
1/2 cup of rolled or gluten free quick oats
2 tsp of chia seeds (You Can also Soak in Water for 10-15 minutes to allow sprouting)
1/2 tsp of cashew or almond butter
1 tsp of organic molasses
1 tsp cacao powder
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1 scoop of plant base protein powder (Choose your flavor. We use chocolate flavor Blessed Protein)
Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix All the Ingredients Together in a food process
  2. Process until all ingredients are mixed well, and a ball is formed
  3. Use an ice Cream scooper or a melon baller to scoop up 1 ounce to make individual balls
  4. You Can roll these in some coconut flakes, or sprinkle some Cacao Powder before placing in sealed container, and storing in the refrigerator
